I heard this on NPR recently. The linked story didn't mention that the distilation system won't be used for drinking water until it has been thoroughly tested. Including sending samples back to earth for more testing.

They must have gotten the cheapie from harbor freight, I read in today's paper that they are having to do repairs and adjustments to it already. I mean, really! $250 million just don't get you any quality in todays defense and space markets. You got to spend real money!!!

So, speaking of living in space indignities, what exactly happens when you "break wind" (fart) in a space suit? I assume its a bad thing for the wearer, worse than losing $100,000 worth of tools (not really yours anyway).
