Drag the ball over to the side of the square and when your pointer leaves the ball will be pinned and just hang there. Then move your pointer down and back onto the square over the ball, then click. You have to be fast though - as soon as you move your pointer back over the square the ball will fall.

Tried everything, still could not get it to change color even once!

I think I need to boot up my very old laptop and try - dang thing is so slow all games slow down on it !

Thanks for the instructions on how to cheat. It took me a couple of times trying and then I got the hang of it.

Even you cheaters are getting cheated...

With the ball in any location, just hit the "Alt" key, and it will anchor it there until you point to it and hit the left mouse button...

right click also freezes the ball!

That's an easier way to cheat Mark! This reminds me of the 'Kobayashi Maru' test from Star Trek - the one Kirk reprograms the simulator on because he says he doesn't beleive in no-win situations.
