I was watching the Chicago news tonight, and they told of a man who committed suicide. He had lost millions since things went to h*ll. I don't think that has happened since the Great Depression.
That is sad, but normal healthy people don't typically take their lives because of financial failure, or any non-physical failure for that matter. I'm guessing there were many other factors involved...

Had a friend lose his job a couple weeks ago. He told me "As long as you still have your health and family you are still doing well." The more I thought about that, the more I realized how true it was.

It would seem pretty obvious this person's priorities were in the wrong place. Sure we need to make a living. But gaining or losing millions doesn't make your life worth living or not. If you think it is, well...
