    My Apologies

    Hey guys, I posted in a political thread last night. I never even noticed the thing at the top saying not to do exactly that. Very sorry. I guess I figured in the "around the coffee pot" section, anything was ok. I should have read more closely.

    Won't happen again.

    So what is my excuse? I knew better!

    I've already sent my apologies to BW. But I do regret adding to the workload of the mods'.

      Hey Steve, don't worry about it. Its past as far as we are concerned. We all makes mistakes. And all of us over look things on occasion that is right in front of us.

      Speaking of mistakes, we have been in Japan for 23 years and oughta know the language pretty good by now. Last week we were at a meeting with some Japanese friends and we had sandwiches. The bread was very fresh and had some whole grain in it. I commented on the bread and asked if the host made it, - and LOML (whose language is 10 time mine 'cause she talks more ), anyway, LOML intended to ask if the bread had sesame seed in it. Instead, she asked "Does this bread have trash in it?"

      The woman was very bewildered but the rest of us got it immediately and laughed big time.

      Sesame = goma
      Trash = gomi

      Hey, had to throw some laughter into the pot!

            I should know better also. Just think on November 5 we can get back to the important things NASCAR, NHL, NFL, NBA and NAHM. Mrs Obradovich had trianglular draftsmen scale to wack our knuckles that thing had no give, and she was a dead eye with a black board eraser, middle of the forehead from 20ft.

              I never even went to Catholic school, but I'm flashing back to an old Cheech & Chong bit (Sister Mary Elephant)...
