    I will try and answer this mystery for you about women and flowers. If you send them flowers then their friends and co-workers (especially if sent to where they work) envy her for what a kind and wonderful husband she has.

    If you are worried about the flowers dieing then get her a potted plant that can be set on a window sill or on a table to show everyone what you got her.

      Yeah but you can't DO anything with them. They just sit there.
      UUGGHH, anyway; she has 2 dozen red roses sitting on her desk at work. The cool part for me: we work at the same place so I get some of the praise directly.

          Something off the menu at a nice restaurant if you're smart.
          Or, if your wife cooks for you normally, wow her with an amazing home cooked dinner - with you as the chef! Even a good spaghetti and meatball dinner - 30 minutes prep and cook time, total - can be absolutely stunning if you put out candles and the right bottle of wine. **** of a lot cheaper, too!
