Enter now the contest is on

    Game on

Guess the time Loring posts his 10,000 post.

All you have to do to enter is send me a PM with the date (mm/dd/YY) and time (Hr/min am or pm) the winner will be determined as the closest to the actual tim(+ or -)

Jussi has agreed to make an online signature or avitar for Loring and the winner. And Black Walut (Mark) will approve and post.l

Mike McCoy will use his Carvewright to engrave a plaque for the winner and Loring using the graphic from Jussi as a pattern.

    I will collect the entries.

Crockett has been volunteered to be the moderator to assit in the selection of a winner.

    Let the entrys fly!

I am just considering my entry but have you considered how to deal with time zones. We should pick one and stick to it.

It would be a good idea for everybody that enters to also post their pick here in this topic. Time zone should be PST if I am the judge since that is the time I have my log-in set to.

Sorry B.Walnut, I'm gonna disagree with revealing date/time as it may sway other's choices

Have we covered what happens if there is a tie?

Cut the plaque in half, I'm sure someone around here has a bandsaw!!

I think the time zone should be Eastern the zone of our founder. Just my 1.2234 cents worth (lousy exchange rate).

Then again Central since that is where Loring is ( at least I think he is in central) not 100% sure where the line in out that way.

We had better decide on one otherwise we could have to call the lawyers in...

How about a tie breaker? Notify the holders of that time slot and ask them to submit a second guess. Of course, you would have to hold Loring's 10K post until their guesses were in. Ah, that's too much trouble. Just send the plaque to me and call it a wash!

shoottx should be ensuring that no two people pick the same time. If the time is already picked a reply of "sorry please pick again" would be a good idea.
