thanks guys! as for customizing, i dont plan on doing anything right now. it already has a vance and hines tuned exhaust. other than that, it came with a touring bag for the back. i will probably get a bigger windshield, but i have to get some milage on it first.
i still need to get a helmet. the guy gave me his unused brand new half helmet, but i am thinking of getting a full face one and some gloves._________________________

Just a bit of Lexicological curiosity, kind of like t he landed up or ended up thread,
you said "I pulled the plug" and got your bike.
Pulled the plug usually refers to ending something, e.g. letting the bathwater out. Or more extreme, unplugging life support.
Maybe you meant "pulling the trigger", a phrase for starting something...
or is that really what you meant to say???

loring, you are right, out of excitement, i wrote "plug" instead of "trigger".
on the other hand, what cabinetman said is true as well. i went a little, ok, more than a little over budget to get this bike._________________________
