    Unidentified object in space

It's fun watching scientists getting their panties into a bunch : Hubble finds an Unidentified Object in Space.

Lotsa 'dunno what it is, but it is something great'! It could be just 130 light years away, or all the way 11 billion light years distant. It was not there, then suddenly appeared there, then not there.

Even before she was done reading it fully, my 9-year old says, "must have been a speck on the lens", and then we read the same hint at the end ...
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

"Out of the mouths of babes" as they say. Hopefully she'll provide years of surprises.

That was the rockets starting up on a few thousand alien spaceships now headed our way.

        Now, where's my aluminum hat?

No need for you to worry if they're using rockets. Unless you're planning to live past 150

I would worry - they're increasing intrinsic velocity to scoot past defensive systems upon emerging from hyperspace.
