        That depends on your mindset. I grew up in NY and consider it a recreational activity. My wife grew up in Wisconsin and considers it a natural disaster. Around here I would consider it a disaster since they don't really know how to deal with it.

            I can relate to that one. Several years ago, we got almost 3" of snow and our nice long, pretty (and steep) bridges all over the low country shut the city down for almost 2 days.
