    Football Or Politics?

So will you be watching the NFL, the RNC or neither tonight?

Ok, ok. Since I can't apparently change the poll, the option regarding being a McCain groupie was meant to be tounge-in-cheek. Hopefully the one person who picked that option picked up on that. Or they may really be a groupie. I don't know and don't care. A better choice might simply have been to ask if you were going to watch any of the convention.

    Thanks Alex.

And in the SE football (college football) is a religion, so you can't talk about that either.

No.... you will get whacked on the knuckles for starting a thread with political content. I am merely asking what your choice of entertainment will be tonight, but of course we all know there is really only one choice: Football!

              Football or Politics?

I believe you are out of line with this post. Football o.k., politics as you put it, NO.

                  Yo Cab,

Ya left out "Generation Kill". Now it ain't football or politics (oops, I said a bad word).

Let's see if anyone finds fault with this.

Your post is not going to get you banned. I am casting no aspersions on the choices anyone makes when answering the poll. Mayhap I should have included a few smilies. I also looked this post over every which way and Sunday too and I don't see ANY agenda pushing in it. Yes, Sam's guidelines are there to keep people from pushing agendas and/or espousing political points of view. Perhaps you can tell me what agenda I am pushing or what political view(s) I am promoting? Other than football that is - see my previous post. All I am doing is asking what people are going to watch (or not). That being said, I will discuss this thread with the other mods and take action as necessary.

The question is a lot easier to answer than the poll. Put in terms of "football, RNC, or neither" my answer is RNC. But I don't think I'd describe myself as a "McCain Groupie," so for the poll I said I had better things to do...

Caught most of the game, now on the convention. I also watched most of the Democratic convention.

I have been occupied with landscaping, rebuilding a deck, and surfing the web. Watching tv gets old really quick. Waiting for the football season to get rolling.

I watched the RNC, not a Groupie, but the football game didn't interest me either. Finially went out to the shop and turned a Pen while listening to the RNC speaches. Now that's done will not listen to anything political if I can help it until the election. I know who I am going to vote for so why listen any more. Now I can watch the races on Friday and Saturday Night and the games on Sunday.
