Those old posters are great. Notice they tell you not to get your neck tie stuck in a machine but there are no safety glasses anywhere. how times have changed!!
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison

Check out page #2, number 12. It even mentions a dust mask.

My flight instructor in Arizona worked as a machinist at Hughes Tool Co.
He was a WWII era pilot from Connecticut who always wore a necktie when he worked as a machinist. It was his generation dress code and he was the but of all jokes in Tucson for almost 10 years, before he broke down and came to work "undressed".
Here's the part I find funny: the gentleman with the neck tie issue appears to be calling for help.
My shop teacher told us of a story of a girl he had in a prior class with long hair. She didn't tie it back well, and some of it go caught in the lathe. Needless to say, the hair and some skin was removed from her head, rather quickly. Obviously, she didn't really have time to yell for help.
That page #2 has a yellow spot something awful. I tried cleaning it up, and came up with decent enough results for a laser printer. (Not perfect, but not annoying either). I will see about getting that cleaned up version to the O.P.
Couldn't stand looking at stained posters, even it if its not what I would use in my shop, so I photoshopped them and now they're all clean (unfortunately).
