    Couple of Local Pictures

I went out to eat dinner "at the beach" and shot a couple pictures that I figured were worth sharing.
These are at "Montana De Oro" state park about 3 miles from my house.

    The beach, looking from above.

You suck, Tom. . . .makes me miss San Diego. . .

Beautiful pictures, by the way. That first one just screams, "California coastline!"

I'd post pics of Galveston Bay / Kemah boardwalk which is a mere 3 mi from my house, but after seeing that, who wants to see a bunch of nasty shrimp boats and a ferris wheel?

Here are a couple more I shot well after the sun went down. These are looking out over the "back bay" of Morro Bay.
        Both are 25 second exposures

I guess I'm going to have to take a picture of the view we'll have off our deck...next June when the dream house is finished. Trees, mountains and a peek of Lake Tahoe.

The new house will have a shop.

Those are all beautiful pics, Tom. I particularly like the first one of the back bay. Nice.

Tom, I love the Back Bay shots they are great. Are these straight from the camera or did some of the color come from some post processing?

                Either way I love them.

Beautiful pictures. Puts me in a trance. My skills are not photographic. You photoguys are an inspiration for taking good pictures.

Hey, I do! I live a little bit farther than 3 miles, but haven't made it out that way. We only just went to Galveston a few weeks ago for the 1st time. Of course we've been in the houston area about 2 years.

Nice pictures and looks like you know how to take advantage of living in a great location.
