How I ensure quality in my projects

    Hi all,

Just thought I'd show you my QC Manager. Here she is checking some M&T joints on a Red Gum coffee table.
All joints I make are "Cat Scanned".

Hmmm, my cat just makes "corrections" with her teeth - she seems to be against square corners!

Nice table, definitely has that "red" look. Maybe post a better picture. Playful QC manager. Is she one of those "Bengals?

Yep, she's a Bengal. Voice you can hear three blocks away.

Here's a couple more shots of the table.

That's definitely not one of those tables that you can pick up with one hand. It has what I call "heft".

We have three cats and two German Shepherds. About 10-12 years ago, LOML had a bug up her exhaust pipe to get a Bengal. Even back then they were VERY expensive. They are really cool.

My German Shephard used to round off corners for me. But since she's gotten more mature, it looks like she's retired. I have to do it all myself now.

Oh man, a pretty and playful cat, a nice looking table. Keep my wife away from that pic! She has been after me for getting some projects done AND she misses her cat! (she left her cat with her Dad when she moved in with me, and now her Dad has gotten VERY attached to that cat!)

Whatever cat we end up with has GOT to be good with Dogs... I've got a cat loving Laborador retriever that has been with me for many years now. I don't want to make his last chunk of time with me miserable...

Nice looking table, you really do some fine work.

My pets don't help much. Actually, my male dog is a pain. He keeps trying to claim all my toys as his. If I walk away from stuff for more than 10 minutes he figures I don't want it and he'll raise his leg and mark it as his. He really likes power hand tools and especially my shop vac. It took him about 30 seconds to walk up and lay claim to my new impact driver. I can just imagine him going around thinking "that's mine, that's mine, ohhh, new clamps, that's mine now"

My three girls just like to run off with the pencils, and freshly cut small parts.

Maybe if my quality control helpers weren't always laying around on the job I might be able to turn out some nice work too.

Yeah, mine are good at scanning my "box joints". What is it about cats and boxes anyway? Set an open box on the floor and there's a cat in it within 10 seconds.

One of my cats is a thief - when I am working on things he will sneak in and take off with something. Sometimes I catch him and he takes off runnning with his prize. Luckily, he always puts his treasures under the bed, so when I can't find a tool I knew I had out, I always know where it is...and he always seems annoyed that I am stealing from him!
