2 days ago I lost the ability to get on the internet except very briefly, but could not get

My email. I was on the phone with support for 4 hours today and still can't access anything

with Yahoo in it. I am set up online jut as good as it can get according to support. I don't

know what to do next, any ideas, I will give them atry. Thanks, Bill

The changed/upgraded their software to the new better My Yahoo and Mail. The content on my home page is still there but different arrangement and more content, my background theme is still there and once I am into my Email it looks the same. You might try opening a new Emil account with a different name and password. I think you could import you address book and then send out a mass mailing to let everybody know your new address or just try and open a new accout and see it works. I just opened one to get away from all the spam and junk mail. This one is for my Woodworking, Ebay Paypal and my bills and selected private Email messages. I have nothing to hide just want a little more privacy.

If you are tired of spam and junk mail switch to gmail. I get NONE now. I keep my old Yahoo address just to sign up for crap that I don't ever want to see an email on or where I think my address might be sold. I remember back when I used Yahoo and Hotmail that at least once for each of those when I set up a new address I had spam in the inbox as soon as I set it up and before ANYONE had the address. Their filters are horrible.

Sorry I don't have any advice for you. I did hear there was a plan to combine Yahoo and Google into a new search engine called Gayhoo. It searches for stuff, but only if it includes the terms "musical theater", "cherry-red Miata", "Judy Garland", or "leather chaps, how to find"...

I just switched to gmail last week. SPAM at the old site was killing me.

I believe what has happened is a virus or trojan that has entered without My consent. I

can not go to any sites that would allow Me to check about this kind of stuff. So here I

What anti-virus software do you use? Can you Google for "hijack this"? It has worked well for me on some of these situations. Also AVG Free is some of the best anti-virus software in my opinion. What resolutions have you tried?
