Nice photo. The beer's not bad, too.

My personal preference lately is Michelob Amber Bock. I'm watching the brewery news pretty closely nowadays...

The Schlafly brewery here in St. Louis makes an Oatmeal Stout that's a meal in itself. Opaque, creamy, hoppy, and perfect with a brat or six.

Used to buy Sam Adams, until I tasted Pilsner Urquell.

That was my favorite watering hole... nothing like opening up a menu where the inside of the front cover is food (pizza and fries, and a few other trinkets) and the next 10 or so pages are beers!

Oh -- and the back cover reviews how to say "Cheers!" in a zillion different languages.

That's not too bad either. My favourite dart bar carries it. I finally convinced them to pick me up some Guinness.

There is another dart pub in town that I really like playing at. It has about the worst setup for a dart match, no one likes it. The beer selection is what keeps me going back.

Beer in green bottles goes skunky if not consumed immediately. That is why I like Rolling Rock.

Berghoff Red for me lately. I am also a big fan of Blue Moon slushies. That beer is best .5F above frozen. When we go out for Mexican food it is either Pacifico or Dos Equis Amber.

I kinda stumbled on/over (literally) this mexican beer Modelo Negro- its a dark beer and a long ways from Corona, which I think isn't even brewed in Mexico anymore.

Try it, great with just about everything, except maybe ice cream.

In my book, Newcastle ranks at the top, by a wide margin. If I had to, I could probably live on it! On the domestic front, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Rolling Rock are both good.

I drink so few beers a year that when I do I want someting I can get my teeth into, so I rent Guinness.

I have gone through so many different beer stages, even brewed my own. The only standby that I always come back to is Miller High Life. Go figure.
