First off I drink very little beer anymore. Secondly, I haven't had a Budweiser since they went on strike way back in the early 70's. Ever since whenever I tried it it tasted awful and just one beer would give me a headache. Something changed in their brewing from what I understand (rumors from back then?).
That being said, it is kind of a shame for another US company to be bought up by a foreign company. But that seems to be the way of the world these days. Most bigger companies around the world are owned by people from other countries or consortiums from various countries. At least it is a company from Belgium. The beer I have had there is good._____________

Give me a Molsen Canadian anytime. Bud and it's ilk are terrible. I don't think this sale will happen. Of course that depends on just how greedy the shareholders are.Last edited by sparkeyjames; 06-13-2008, 07:45 AM.Comment

But all it is is 46 billion strips of newsprint, they way things are heading. Heard yesterday that the government of Abu Dhabi is closing a deal to buy the Chrysler Building in NYC... I had to turn off the TV so I wouldn't puke... And now Australia, the UK and Japan are loudly blaming our rotten economy for the problems with theirs...Comment
