    Odd Jobs

I don't know about You, but I think His level is probably lawn mowing. This was in the

SO I want the guy who does my lawn to re-side my house and replace the roof and driveway? I think I'll pass on that.

Who knows, maybe he does vinyl for a living and lawnmowing is the side job? Nah, I don't think so either.

I guess I read that as "pressure washing vinyl siding and driveways", as in he pressure washes those items, not installs them.

Look at the punctuation. Pressure washing proceeds Vinyl siding and driveways with a hyphon, not a comma. Siding and driveway are joined with an "and" and no commas, so they are descriptive adjuncts to the noun, presure washing, then the phrase is separated by a comma to continue the list of services.

hrmmm I used to mow lawns for people. I've done pressure washing too, usually when I sealed a driveway. I roof, frame, installing siding, cement work, wiring, etc too...

One of my neighbors used to have a guy doing his lawn on the weekends for $25 per. The guy had a Harvard MBA and a PhD from Bill and Mary. Said he just wanted something mindless to do on the weekends. I guess all those degrees didn't make him smart, though, as he dropped dead one Sunday an hour after finishing my neighbor's lawn...

Which begs the question, is it better to die quietly sitting in an easy chair while Vanna turns the letters for you, or to go out with the sun warming your neck and the smell of fresh-cut grass filling your nostrils?

I'd sooner fall over living life than die in a home/hospital after any kind of stay...

I vote for Vanna sitting on my lap in an easy chair and her smell filling my nostrils...

Sunday is a very high stress day

I had two friends about 57 years age drop dead on different Sundays and different years.
