    True Story

I was taking the GrandDaughters to their Court ordered visitation last Friday When I passed

a new business getting ready to open. It will be a Farmers market type of area. He has

already put up signs, anyway I was going past the turnoff and I noticed a young girl; about

21 who had pulled into the driveway and sitting on He trunk. She was sitting there and

waving. As I passed by I noticed a sign, Park and Sell. I bet they get a lot of business.

Did you wave back? No sense in being rude.

If they'd mastered marketing she'd have friends with her or she'd be in a bikini. If they truly mastered it, she and her friends would all be in bikinis.

Notice he only says that from the safety of North Carolina. I have noticed that some of them gals from Arkansas are the type that'll rip your ears off for suggesting they aren't the bikini type...

Given the recent events with the Gov. of NY, I saw a pick-up truck that had a sign on it that stated: New York State Certified Escort Vehicle.

It was an actual sign as the pick-up follows trucks that carry wide loads. Still it made me chuckle.

                    Bill,

I have nothing bit admiration for the women of Arkansas - both the ear ripping and chin dropping kind. Of course, the best ones are the ones that can do both.

But then again, I have been a lifelong fan of Black Oak Arkansas, so it is fair to question my judgment...

                    Have a good one...

The town of Black Oak, AR is just 30 miles from here. Bill

Yep - that is why I threw in the reference. I very nearly spent a couple months in Jonesboro. My former employer, Haworth, built a plant there and I was originally tasked with going there to run the start-up training. But then they decided to take a different approach. I had been looking forward to it.

Jim Dandy Mangrum and John Grisham both having lived in a town of fewer than 300. What are the odds? Of course, their writing styles are somewhat different...
