I pulled it out and rested

I know You think this is dirty and it was.

I had to unstop a tub drain in a rental unit today. As I pushed and turned the auger I got

in about 6 feet and had to pull it out and rest My body. I rested awhile and went back in a

and started over, it was easy except for the trap area. After I got past the trap, it was

easier until I got to the blockage. With much pushing and turning finally the water in the

tub went away, I then ran hot water thru it for about 5 minutes. I got it done without

    calling a Plumber. Bill

Always good to be able to push it in and pull it out.

It's a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it.

I thought of this post as I was sitting on the tub. Bill

at the end of your post, i was expecting that you were going to describe to us what you pulled back!

our kitchen drain got plugged a couple of months back, and i was near the end of the 25ft lead, when i hit the blockage and half of it went away, but the other half just came back all tangled at the end of the auger .

I guess we all used to do that a lot when we were younger. It was easy to go to sleep after a workout like that.
