Can't tell you how many ads on the local CL has PC listed as Porta Cable. My pet peeve is in the misidentification or incomplete information of any tool being posted for sale - can't understand how anyone would expect to make a sale on something that reads "10in Woodworking Saw". Second pet peeve is no picture.

That one gets me also. '10" table saw, good condition $200'. Those pop up around here all the time. No manufacturer, no model number, no age, no picture so you could even guess.

Or the ones where they list it for more than you could buy it for new at the most expensive place possible. You don't get a price premium for bringing it home, plugging it in and making sure it works.

That's great! Where did you dig that up? You don't have the poster, do you?

          Or maybe poor deflection!

Calling a circular saw a skillsaw doesn't bother me. AFIK Skilsaw (speled differently ) was one of the first to make them. I always heard it called a skillsaw growing up. Same with sawzall and all the rest. I just don't like it when a tablesaw is called something else besides a tablesaw.
