BIL came in this weekend and we built his BBQ smaker cart, we had discussed it before, but I started drawing plans Friday at 11PM and they took it away at 7:30 PM sunday night.
Around sunday afternoon he produced two stainless steel racks/towel hanger/handles he wanted mounted at each end... they had 4" tall brackets and I had made the apron 3.5" tall... and the width of the handle mounts were just so that they interfered with the bolts that held the apron to the legs in every possible way. He said he absolutely had to use them.. So around 6PM Sunday I came up with the "Faux" apron plan, looks like this:
