    My vote is for something much smaller, say a virus. A flu virus will knock all on their butts no matter how strong they are.

    Chicken pox might take care of that eagle as well.

      think about how they hunt...

      A bear is more a scavenger than a hunter of big game. A tiger is a hunter that goes for the kill. Think of all of the stories you hear of mtn lions and tigers killing people, then think of the stories of bears killing people. A big cat is more aggressive and has more of a killer instinct. Even kodiak bears (biggest brown bears) eat mostly fish.

        Interesting points.

        I liken this to a fight between Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee. Initially, I think Bruce Lee would get lots of punches in. But one or two punches from Muhammad Ali is pretty much gonna kill Bruce Lee.

        Unless the cat can quickly kill the bear, I think the bear is going to win.
