    Who wins a fight between...

Who would win a fight between the largest of grizzly bears, and the largest of tigers?

BTW, I purposely am not including a "it is a draw" answer. You have to pick one or the other.

Right now can't think of a place where they co-exist, but I'll put my money on the bear.

Size and strength alone, The Bear Wins.

But kind of like a Knife fight winner is also a looser.

I guess you have to use your imagination. How about a poorly run zoo?

BTW, I don't ever wish any harm to any animals (well, except any squirrels in my garage).

Poll doesn't state whether they have to be still in existence or not. My vote is that a saber-tooth (smilodon) could take the largest bear. It would be much more nimble. Pic in the link is of a giant sloth, but you get the idea.

Well, if they're so bad-a$$, why are they extinct?

I picked the Tiger, faster and more agile. They are extinct because of Global Cooling.

              I think, maybe Al knows.

OK, I'm in the minority, but I'll take the biggest tiger.

One thing is certain, Roy Horn would not be a match for either...

Wasn't there a show on Discovery or somewhere else a few years ago that used computers to simulate these types of matches? Or maybe it was just extinct animals.

Oh, my vote would be the Liger, which is pretty much my favorite animal.

gaaaaassshh, I was going to vote for the liger, which is pretty much my favorite animal also.

I guess I pretty much have to vote for a chicken now, because they have large talons.

Weak guess. Think about it... a Bald Headed Eagle can whip a chicken's butt 6 days a week and twice on Sunday. Haven't you heard of chicken noodle soup? Oh, furthermore there's no such thing as Eagle noodle soup.

Chuck Norris in a panda suit could roundhouse kick both in the face...

But I would put my money on the grizzly because they are set up to be more destructive. I think the cat has too much muscle dedicated to speed and capture while a bear would rip the cat apart once in his grip.
