HF getting tight with the coupons!

It has been about a good month since I have seen an ad paper from HF with a coupon in it.
Seems as if HF is trying to cut costs. Used to see 1 or 2 a month now the well is dry.

Since I get three or four flyers of theirs at a time (due to some initials or name variations and a P.O. Box address that have found a way into their system), I can say that sometimes I get multiples of the identical flyer, but that one may have a 15% coupon, while the others may not. Apparently they track your business through the coupons and phone numbers you submit, and only send the coupons to whichever of your various identities they haven't heard from in a while, presumably to stimulate your patronage. It's insidious.

I just recived a new flyer in the mail today. NO COUPONS just the usual slew of various discounted items.

I keep looking at their compressors and air tools but would rather hold out until I can justify one of the Porter Cable kits and guns.

I'm getting email coupons 2-3 times a week, the mailers are sparse lately though and I've found flyers at the store that weren't mailed or available at HarborfreightUSA.com.

Right after Christmas there sale ad preview disappeared from the site and even the current add hasn't been kept updated.

I'd did pick up a 50-tooth 10" Combo blade for 7.99 today with a coupon. It smokes the 21829's stock chinese blade. It's no WWII but after seeing the cuts I would have been happy with it if I had paid the normal 17.99. I plan on picking up another for general use to save wear on the expensive blades.
