    It's been six years

Since I threw away my last smokes. It may not be as long as some people but I feel great about it.

Congratulations! Only 2 months for me, but I feel better already. Nice to get up without coughing and hacking the first 15 minutes!

Very good point. I have an acquaintance who was having trouble paying her bills. She quit smoking, cold-turkey, and saved her house.

Congrats to all of you!! No easy task and I know from experience - 26 years ago. I don't miss it one bit! Now, if you can convince the wife that you will at least split the money saved you can score some pretty nice stuff by year's end.
                            Blessings,
                            Chiz

It's been 18 years for me. I will admit to smoking a cigar now and again, but they are WAY less addicting than cigarettes.
