    I have my own rant... or a peeve, anyway...

    Am I the only one sick of hearing about this Roger Clemens thing every 5 minutes? I have basic cable, which means I get about 50 channels. When I surfed through them this morning, at least 15 of them were carrying live coverage of his testimony, and most with a running commentary from a talking head of one sort or another. Enough already! Don't we all have something better to do? The media's attempting to turn this thing into a spectacle, and the only thing turning is my stomach!

    There... I feel better now...

          I could do without all of it. Brittney Spears, Jamie Spears, Roger Clemens, baseball and steroids, American Idol, Survivor, etc.

              Just about anything dealing with celebrities and their foibles (People mag news), 99.9% of "reality" TV, the latest and greatest version of "happy-talk" news (David Cronkite anyone), tooooooo looooooong political campaigns - the list goes on.
