    She's got to go

She's on the block, after loving her for almost 27 years, no not the LOML
    PHOENIX X
She's getting too much to handle for just the two of us.
Some of my woodworking "skils" were gained making changes to her.

I'm sure you had a wonderful time on her.
Looking for the pictures under full sail... I guess they're hard to get when you're doing the sailing.

She sure is beautiful. I've been hankering for something like that, but it's too big and too expensive for me. Wife prefers a powerboat. I like the wind (when it blows). I've been looking at something like 30ft... comfy for a weekend.

Lots of rivers and canals here and upscale waterfront homes. One of the running comments around here is to outdo your neighbor, you have to have a boat tied to your backyard dock that is larger than your neighbors home.

She's beautiful! . . . Makes my little 23' Venture Newport look like a bathtub toy. I know you have many wonderful memories. Good Luck

She's a beaut Tim. CBYC....? Isn't that Cathedral Bluffs Yacht Club at the bottom of Brimley? I spent many a misguided childhood day climbing up and down the bluffs. We usually climbed a little west of Bluffers Park though.

I am sure you remember the old saw about the two happiest times in a boat owners life. Think of all the bottom scraping and bilge crawling you won't have to do.

Too bad your not in Whalers neck of the woods, should have a BT wedding on it.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

And as captain I could perform the wedding!

Dennis, I once owned a Lightning, a 19ft mohagony centreboard daysailor. I don't know if your familiar with that class but at that time a 23ft Venture Newport would have looked like a huge yacht to me. I guess it's all relative.

And Richard you're absolutely right, it is the Cathedral Bluffs Yacht Club at the bottom of the famous Scarborouhg Bluffs in Ontario.

Yes, we do have beautiful memories of cruising on her. Around the lake and frequently to the Thousand Island region.

Tim, now why would you want to do that to someone? It's not like we have any money left after buying toys.... I mean tools.
