    He is his Fathers Son

I thought this would be something to share with everyone. I was sitting at the computer a while back and posting or looking through the forum when I noticed that Thomas had gotten quiet. When I turned around this is what I saw..........

he was kicked back and watching some Disney show on television. Just relaxing like his dad.

A picture speaks a thousand words and in this case they all seem to be "precious".....

The bad news... they grow up and become "teen-agers"...

We have twins that will be 12 on the 20th of this month . If we survive them becoming teens then I think that we will be rather well prepared for Thomas when he hits the teens, at least that is what I hope.

Twelve is 12 Mellisa... one shy of thir----. I don't even like to say it. When they hit thir----, you and Mark will truly understand what the Federal Witness Protection Program was really created for.. hiding parents even though not as effecitively with the kids today. They can't take out the trash, but they can find you with a computer within about 5 minutes!

                        Heeeeee.........

                          Sarge,
I know that the next age, thir****, is going to be even harder than 12 right now. I am just trying to look on the bright side of things I guess. Our daughter is quite a girl now and I am sure things are only going to get worse after 12.

And now I know the deal with taking out the trash or doing the dishes. Takes the daughter longer to do the dishes than it takes for her to find Hannah Montana on television. LOL.

I'm basically just kidding to a certain degree, Melissa. With the guidance that you and Mark seem to be providing, it's not that bad, but things do become different for some reason. I think it has to do with the peer pressure that the kids today are subjected too?

I will say for the most part that they are not as motivated over-all as we were when growing up. I laugh about taking out the trash as you could put a plastic bag of trash in the middle of the porch directly in the front of the door. And.. if you didn't "tell" him (who is a teen no longer) to take it down to the outside cans... he would literally trip attempting to get over the bag on his way down the stairs. Ummmmm.. Ummmmm.. Such motivation!

Again.. it varies from teen to teen we have found.

                            Regards...
