I talked to the AC officer that handled our case today and she is going to review it to refresh her memory. I reminded her the Judge said those dogs could not come back in the city limits for any reason. She said until he brings the dogs back there is nothing I can do. She also said if he brings them back the Judge may get him for contempt of court since this will the 2nd time on record. She told me to call her as soon as I knew the dogs were there and take a picture if I could and she would handle it. Thanks for the advice and comments.

I have a Newfoundland. He is a shedding -MACHINE-. He loves my girls and they love him so I guess it's OK. The vacccum cleaner mfg. companies should love him as well. I have had 5 vaccums in 5 years. I agree with most of the others here. There are way too many good dogs to put up with a bad one for more than a second. Breed does make a difference. It is not the only thing but it plays a part.

One word for you: greyhounds. Big but gentle, usually good with kids. Short hair (less dog smell), don't shed much. Sleep most of the day. Not very noisy. Great dogs, and there are adoption groups all over the place working hard to place retired racers. Find out when a group near you is having a meet and greet (probably one somewhere just about every weekend, usually at Pet Smart or Petco), take you wife, meet the dogs and talk to the people. After a bad experience with a poorly trained lab a roomate had a few years ago, I said I never wanted a dog again. The greyhounds changed my mind.

Ken, sorry to hear about your continued trouble with this neighbor. Hopefully the jerk will keep the dog out of town. If not, well, do what you need to for the protection of your family.
