    Factory Reconditioned

I just got the latest HF flier and it struck me looking through it that there weren't any "factory reconditioned" items. It got me thinking, that I haven't seen any in their fliers for a while. Does anyone know if "fr" items have been discontinued?

I think that HF disposes of their recons more online nowadays than they do in their retail stores.

There are tons of reconditioned tools at Cummins Tools:

        Many are Rigid and Ryobi

If you can't get to a retail store, get on the (snail) mailing list and look for a truck sale.

the recon tools with brand names at HF (when they were listed) were always priced very high... about as much as new ones at the big box stores.

Don't see too many recon HF branded tools (Pitsburg, central, Chicago Pnuematic etc), you used to see pallet loads of rejected/returned HF stuff for sale on ebay.
            Loring in Katy, TX USA
If your only tool is a hammer, you tend to treat all problems as if they were nails.
