deciphering Sears kenmore manufacturer

anybody know how to figure out who manufacturers products from Sears?

my Kenmore vac won't shut off, and I'm trying to find a cheaper relay switch (hope that's the part that will do the trick).

vac starts with a 116

it was made by Matsushita (Panasonic parent company).
I'm pretty sure altho the list says craftsman suppliers that it really applies to all sears items, not just CM.
