Man, that really takes me back. I didn't know Dick Clark's wife thought up the name - Chubby Checker.

I do believe the era will be the last innocent generation.

Now that I've spent a little more time on the site, I'll say it's both sad and cool. In some ways it was good to go back, and in others, there were things we'd rather forget.

I recognized the opening bars of each song -AND- I knew the words

Lots of wonderful memories flooding back

          Thank you, Dud.

That is the way it is with every generation.

And you could sing to them, and they didn't sound like people who had failed English and music classes, and only used base! However I would like to know the words to pipeline, LOL.

While I am a little younger then first hand knowledge, due to how/where I was raised, I actually somewhat fit in this category. (and friends who are of this age actually get po'd at me when I don't remember someplace, LOL)

I am forwarding that site to a few friends, thanks!
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
