    Things that need Inventing

I was just sitting around this morning and it came to me that what the world needs is one of those clapper things that is a wall switch. It could be used on the bathroom fan. Now you know that when you realize that you really need that fan on, it's too late; But if you had the "Crapper Clapper" (registered trademark, patent pending) there would be no need to sit and suffer or light candles and risk being engulfed in flame.

So, what is your invention idea of the day?

After driving home in this snowy mess tonight, I think a micro wave emitter that sits on the front of my car to instantly melt the snow and evapourate the water from my path.

Replace your fans switch with one that has a motion detector. Then you just have to extend your reach over in front of it. Just don't go launching a can of "rosebed" spray as the top will break down and off and engulf the room in another gas, that will then make you think someone (word) in a bed of roses, while your choking to get out of the room.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

I invented a "pull my own finger machine". But while doing some final tweeking the servo-motor that actually does the finger pulling, I turned the screw 4 complete turns instead of the called for 1/4 turns. The thing nearly jerked my finger off & caused me to crap in my pants. After a trip back to the drawing board I realized I had a mechanical device to alleviate constipation, although the toilet bowl usually cracks under the high pressure that the turd exits.

          1. Invisible paint. Brush it onto something opaque and you can see thru it. Instant Window! (I first came up with this when I was working on those stupid model cars)

          2. Dark Emitting Diode (DED) or as some call it, the dark sucking diode. Turn it on and it does the opposite of a LED, it absorbs light. Instant dark room. You wouldn't have to close the blinds. The best version of this would actually return power to the grid, lowering your light bill when activated.

          3. Microwave refrigerator. Put a warm mug of beer into it, close the door, hit start, 1 minute later you have a frosty beverage. I guess if it went ding at the end it would be OK.

Hey, I've been working on these for 20-40 years now so if you know how to do any of them, go ahead and be my guest.

A small cordless shop vac that can be worn by a 2 year old with diaper attachment and auto-on when the "blast gate" opens.

I love this forum because I am constantly learning new things. In this case, I am pretty sure I am a little dumber than I was before reading this thread.

Kinda like Loring's DED... instead of absorbing light, this one sucks in brainwaves...

And judging by the physics thread, expandable.

How about a computer program, or maybe a website, that is completely impervious to time. When the user uses it, HOURS will pass away as SECONDS, and he will accomplish as little in hours, as he normally does in seconds. Now THAT would be cool.

                        Hey, wait a minute...
