Guess I should be hating Fords.... last week the step-daughter blew the engine in her Explorer and last Saturday night I did in the transmission in my Bronco and today I got an estimate of $2300 to replace it with a rebuilt one. So now I will have to go to the bone yard and find a used one, hope for the best, and then put it in myself. I have gotten to dislike working in grease and grime in the cold and rain. Even nice days it's miserable.

Bill I second what you said about vehicles. I don't know why someone who enjoys playing with tools and wood would dislike working on cars, but I really hate working on cars. It could be how even the simplest task like changing a light bulb becomes a 45-minute ordeal due to poor design, poor lighting, inadequate tools and of course below-freezing weather. DAMHIKT.
