    What's On Your...

    ... coffee table?

On mine there is 2 laptops, 6 kid's books, 1 pacifier, 2 cups, a pair of shoes, a baby toy and some of my wife's papers.

A lap top, pills, glucose meter (or what ever) iPod - old people's stuff! All of it LOML's and I don't touch it!
Forgot to add in TV, VCR, DVD, and Cable remotes! All off limits to me - the guy that used to make radios, short waves, and stereos amps from kits and schematics.

We do not have a coffee table in the family room. It saves on having to clean it off everytime we have guests over.

Right now there is a reindeer stable Christmas decoration (that has become my 15 mo daughters favorite toy) and a bucket full of Transformers. My kids will be up soon, so the contents will change quickly and often throughout the day.

Should I keep a running inventory and post throughout the day?

What you wanna hear: 5000 BF of Rosewood, Teak, Cherry and Walnut. A box full of all the LN planes.

What you don't wanna hear: Hardbound books on German Shepherds, cats, tropical fish and aquariums, and the hardbound book: 9-11, A Tribute.

No coffee table here, either. Middle of the living room gets occupied with kid's books & toys.

Now this sounds like our house...except our almost 2 year old (Jan. 9th) will pull himself across the table and then try and stand on it till mom or dad gets mad at him and makes him get off of it. Oh and usually one of his "trucks" that he likes to drive on it.

No coffee table here and LOML won't let me bring my toys into the house unless I'm fixing or remodeling something.
