That's **great** !! I'm one year off from having my g.daughter kill her first deer. She has been with me for one and insisted on helping with the field dressing. That's were we discussed thakfullness, ethics of the humane kill, the food chain and whatever she came up with. I made a plaque of that tail, the cartridge and a picture of the two of us in our hunting gear and it hangs on her wall. More importantly I hope that sharing the memory hangs forever in her heart.Blessings,

I'm sorry You don't have deer in Southern California, We do in Arkansas. My GrandDaughter hunts because that and fishing is all Her Dad knows how to do. My Daughter also hunts, I have not been hunting since I was a teenager. In this state the 1st day of deer season is just about a holiday everywhere, if they didn't let school out, they wouldn't have enough people to take attendence. It's regional here in PA, but school is closed the Mon and Tues after Thanksgiving just for deer hunting. Archery and muzzleloader preceed this dater by about two months but rifle season is a big draw. PA sells something like 1.3 million hunting licenses each year.Blessings,

It's not that, Bill. There is a deer season, although I don't know how far I'd have to go to shoot. With so many people around here, most areas are closed to shooting.
We we just do not have a hunting culture here. The notion of a girl shooting a deer would cause so much anxiety the drug stores would run out of Prozac!

LMAO!!!!!!!!!
Now that is funny. That is what I was thinking

. And don't let the actors hear you say that a "girl" shot a deer, that might cause some more headlines for the famous people.

Melissa, JR, You both know how much a little girl loves to show off for their Dad. I don't
like Him, but if that is the only thing He can do with them, go for it. I myself have never
hunted a deer, but I have been to the deer camp with My Brother, as My Son wanted to
hunt, and I went to eat, because My Brother would only take Him if I went to.
JR I saw the biggest deer I've ever seen inside Jonesboro city limits. They were smart deer
because that is a no hunting zone. I believe I like the sparsity of people it can be a plus.Bill5 OUT OF 4 PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND FRACTIONS.Comment
