Well, OK, we are NOT moving....

LOML came home from work Friday and announced she would NOT move with me. Discussed it ad infinitum all weekend. Then Monday before she left for work she presented me with all the (+) and (-) she could think of for moving or staying put.

    Shoot.

She was right . Besides, her ultimatum was that I could move to Bastrop if I wanted to, but she was staying here .

So today I called the Army etc and they welcomed me back with open arms. Start working in the Army clinic again next week.

Nothing is worth more to me than LOML!!!!!!!

Just "pains" me "as a MAN" that --- she was right!

But then, that's why we love the women we love. 'cause they are more thoughtful and introspective than we are!

YOU are staying for the RIGHT reason! True Wisdom!

      On another note:
I don't mean to start anything but one of the coworkers that I supervise - he lists the + and - of everything and presents things in an already determined course. He does this so often that it sends up a red flag when I see a plus and minus list. That would be OK if his lists were driven by priorities, which they usually aren't, only things beneficial to him.

I stop LOML when I see her doing a + / - list. I just ask her what she really want to do and tell her to just do it. I am behind her! She doesn't do them that often but when she can't make up her mind . . . I know she has but she doesn't want to admit it out loud!

Plus and minus lists have a way of being very subjective!

guess that means no new shop... or does it?maybe you can trade that for staying.

Things usually have a way of working out for the better. Sometimes the best change is no change at all.

You know the women are always right. And I thought we might be seeing a new username for you (Civildoc?). Hope everything works out well for you.

              Paul,

You realize of course that she never wanted to move in the first place. It just took her this long to come up with a justification as to why.

With all the posts about relocating and moving, you have to move. We're all prepared for it...don't let us down.

Sorry guys, LOML says "No". And I learned those two words that save a man's marriage a long time ago .....
