Thanks for the advice and encouragement folks! My only regret is this will be the 13th move in 33 years, or about a move every 33 months. Dang!

I was planning on renting a truck with a lift gate and strapping everything in tight. Seems like the best idea. Let movers move almost everything else.

If things work out we'll move before Nov. 1 or a little later. I hope I can find a place with a shop, or a 3 car garage, or enough property to put one up.

well, first of all good luck with the move. CB put it beautifully. this may be the beginning of something even better and more exciting, enjoy the move and dont rush. in our last move, we rushed for nothing and messed up ourselves for a few days. like what you are going to do, i'd take everything unless i cant move it at all.

good luck and keep us posted with you move!

Good Luck in your new endeavors!! Before you decide on how to move the shop you might want to look in to WHAT to move. Since you don't have a new place picked out YET you really don't know if everything you already have will fit. Once you find the new place, and get a general idea on where everything will go, then you can decided what to move, then decide on how to move it.

You may find that the new place will not hold everything you currently have. You may find that your new place can handle those larger things you wished you had. Now (while your packing) is the time to dig deep and ask yourself is it really worth moving ???????? or just selling it. Time you weigh in the cost, hassle, space of the item and the lack of need.

Sounds like you have moved your stuff more than once already, I think your be fine.
