That's what I'm sayin'. How DID they get this stuff? They obviously knew OJ and had been fencing his stuff for him. Then they got greedy. And we know OJ don't like that. Just like he don't like young, smooth-talking waiters moving in on his ex.Mike Florio at profootballtalk.com points out one aspect that could bode more trouble for O.J. than the Goldmans.
At least some of those involved were apparently selling things under the table for O.J., obviously with the goal of avoiding the Goldmans but with another more serious consequence: income not reported to the IRS.
This could affect both the breakers-in and the breakees.
Here's a snarky take on the thing:

As I recall they never could convict Al Capone on any of his killings but the IRS made their charges stick. This is one time that you can be glad that the IRS takes their job seriously.Blessings,

Did you see OJ's new girl friend. Has a very simular appearance as his dead former wife. She is blonde and could be a sister, maybe a little heavier but looks close. The forme prosecuter was also there (Marcia Clark) Had oral surgery yesterday so wasn't doing much this morning so was watching the tube. Spector might get off also.

Several of the cable news-lawyers are being extra-negative about the whole thing (maybe to compensate for feeling guilty that without the "first incident", as OJ obnoxiously described it, they'd still be assistant D.A.s instead of well-paid media personalities.)Comment

More from the You Just Can't Make This Up dept.: the bail bond service that OJ used to get sprung is You Ring, We Spring. Honest.
It gets a five-star review on Yahoo Local:

The parents of a classmate of my daughter's had a fundraiser at their (enormous) home in Arlington, VA, back in the early 90's. In their basement was a huge, framed photo of the man with OJ himself, signed by OJ, "To my good friend".
I lost touch with them after we moved away, and I've often wondered what he did with that photo...Jeff

Geez, maybe he should ask OJ if he wants it back...or offer it as bait to catch "the real robbers".The parents of a classmate of my daughter's had a fundraiser at their (enormous) home in Arlington, VA, back in the early 90's. Here is the wildest thing that I've taken from the whole ordeal so far.
This is Marcia Clarke!
What a change! Wonder how much work she has had done.Ted KitchComment

IMO, too much, but I've never understood the impulse of reasonably nice-looking brown-haired people to become strange-looking blondes. Here is the wildest thing that I've taken from the whole ordeal so far.

Several of us were trying to think of anything that would make all this weirder, and after 10 minutes, decided that it would take something on the order of OJ being lifted by a hurricane and deposited in Kansas, or his gardener turning out to be Jimmy Hoffa, for things to get stranger.
But we're holding our breaths, because as soon as someone says that...Comment
