I felt like a schmuck.

We were playing with Play-Do and making 'spaghetti and meatballs'. I started singing 'On top of Old Smokey all covered with cheese...' and changed 'someobdy' to my daughter's name. I thought I was singing a silly song but she burst into tears and was very upset that it was her fault my meatball was now mush. She made me promise never to sing that song again.

I have done the same thing, delicate emotions. Hopefully she'll get over it soon. Now that mine are older, when I try to sing they quote Shrek at me.
