    How was your weekend?

In a word -- ours was fantastic.

Great weather, smoke from fires has thinned out, good eats, a few animals to chase around in the woods with 'stick and string'. Couldn't be much better.

The lumber is still standing in your picture.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

That ain't lumber -- it's firewood. And seeing as how it makes for nice camping, it'll stay there...

Man I wish we had camping spots like that. Only camping places around here (at least the ones I've been to) have the camping spots almost right next to each other and there are hardly any trees. Either that or go to Joshua Tree and camp in the desert . I hear Northen Cali has some really nice spots.

Anyone in Southern Cali have any good spots for camping??

Well, it was a 'bit' crowded. Had two other campers within a mile or so of us.

I spent most of Sunday with nature, too. Riding one Deere and chasing the other deer away from my fruit trees!

Those pix are nice--sounds like a great time!

As for me, the view from the inside of my shop this weekend was not too bad, all things considered...

Mostly indoors, painting, scrubbing out old grout, regrouting, curtting and setting new marblr windowsill, and late Sunday, communed with nature by mowing the lawn.

At least both tile and lawn look great now.

well, since i finally got my table done, i though well its probably time to get the garage cleaned up. so on sunday, from 9am to 2pm, i cleaned the garage and the drive way. after 9 months and 9 days, my cars got a chance to spend the afternoon in the garage ! when we went to dinner last night, my kids were shocked that they had to go to the garage to get to the car. at first, they were "dad! the cars are gone!", when i opened the garage, my son (whose only 4.5yr old) couldnt believe they were inside (they had no idea i was cleaning up).

maybe next month, we are going to head to south to tucson for some camping, but nothing like what your all picture shows.

                          It's a shame you couldn't find a nice campsite.

I'm guessing that's somewhere along Hungry Horse Reservoir?
