My suspicious wife

She questions just about everything she reads/hears. For instance, if I mention something that one of the women here made or said, LOML will say "So you know that's a woman?" Well, not really. But it's someone who is using a woman's name. "Okay", she'll say. "Maybe it's a woman, and maybe it's not. It might be an 11 year old boy." I won't even mention how much she believes about political speeches.

I guess the goog thing about thinking that way, is that she is more unlikely to be the victim of a scam.

With "historically male" activities, I'd think it would be a lot more likely to have women using male names instead of vice versa.

Decades ago, some road racing and rallye registrars insisted on listing the very few women drivers by initials. Possibly this was on the assumption that fewer male drivers would register if they knew a female had entered.

Not necessarily though. It could be a guy trying to get attention. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
