    Mrs. Dustmight

Please allow me a bit of bragging. Of all the forums I frequent, this is the only one where I'm comfortable enough to share this....today is our 25th wedding anniversary. I met my lovely bride in 1979 and were married in 1982. We've lived in western NY the entire time. First house was in 1984. Second house and first child in 1986, 3rd house, sixth child, and first 15 passenger vehicle in 1999. Current ages are 8, 10, 12, 17, 18, and 20...3 boys, 3 girls, all still living at home. Lucky for them, they look more like their mother than me!

A quarter century and six kids later, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Though things aren't always wonderful, I'm blessed with a wife whom I fall in love with regularly, and a family that I'm proud to take anywhere. Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for all them.

She's alright as non-woodworkers go, but could care less what saw blade I'm using, and doesn't pay much attention to my new chisel unless a large Visa bill shows up. I usually feel like I hit the wife lottery, but sometimes I wonder what the heck she was thinking! Thanks for listening...just wanted to the world to know!

Meet "Mrs. Dustmight" (aka Mrs. Knotscott):

Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

      Congratulations, Bill...

I wore mine out after 18 years, and I couldn't find a replacement in my price range!

Good thing you posted her picture...sounds like my wife. You are lucky and it takes work for a relationship to work well. But, as long as we're gloating, mine shows an interest in woodworking. How about that!!! As a matter of fact I told her just last week that she can get her start by learning to sharpen my chisels.

All this talk about love. Reminds me of the story about Adam and Eve. Eve asked Adam if he loved her. He replied "Who else?".

CONGRATULATIONS--It does my heart good to hear of people who work at thier marriage rather, than give up & move on. Its never gona be perfect but some days are darn close.

Dust, you are lucky in more ways than you know....I was working on something in the kitchen and asked my lol if she could grab me a pair of pliers from the toolbox in the basement. She brought me a ratchet!

Congrats on your 25th, with admiration for your love for each other.

And if I can say this very respectfully, a wolf-whistle for your wife. She's an extremely beautiful lady. Congrats for that again.

Congrats on the good catch, and on her misfortune. Actually, I think your situation is a lot like ours. We both got lucky.

                            Happy Anniversary Scott.

It's good to see someone not embarrassed to publicly say how much they love their spouse. I applaud you for that and wish you and Mrs. Dustmight many more.
