    Feeding babies...

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it almost impossible to not open your own mouth when bringing the spoon to the baby's?

Anyway, lunch got a little messy today. I just can't resist sharing...

    oh yeah, I remember that.

Thank god at 25 they have their own credit card and go out and feed themselves at better restaurants than I go to.

But sometimes, it seems like just yesterday...

I still have to feed mine, and he's 32 and got 3 kids...

Just a hint: When they're still on the strained food, you can feed 'em with a caulking gun!

Those days fly by, never to be experienced again directly, so enjoy them while they last.

Very cute. Got the Nick Nolte hair going on there. Anyhoo, when I am feeding my 5 month old her cereal I do not open my mouth. So no, it is not impossible not to.

My bad. My first thought when seeing the "feeding babies..." in the new posts list was...

                Too what?

My daughter is seven and she still looks like that after she eats.

One of my friends was lying on his back, holding his infant daughter over his head. He had his mouth open, trying to get her to smile. She let loose with a mouthfull of drool and he couldn't react in time. Blech.

I have a picture just like that somewhere. The kiddo is 33 now so she probably wouldn't be happy with me digging it out! But I think I'll find it anyway and email it to her. That's what dads are for, right??

                      Good picture, Alex!

                        Cute kid!

I'll admit it - i was a mouth opener, and mocked by my wife for it.

Looks like more missed the mouth then got in. Better practice on that plane landing, or whatever method you used.

I wasn't a 'mouth opener' but I just had to compliment you and the wife on a fine job in putting that little one together. What a cutie. I have one of my 30 y.o. sitting on the outside steps eating cherries - a progression of clean and one cherry in hand to smeared and a dozen pits on the ground which she did by raising her little arm and dropping them at her feet. Oh yea, those were sweet days but you get to relive them if you're fortunate enough to be a gandparent.
                            Blessings,
                            Chiz
