A couple of guys on my son's Stryker team were injured...

His unit is involved in the "cleanup" north of Baghdad. They've been pulling 48 hours on duty/20-24 hours off duty.

Chris says the injured guys'll be out of commission for a bit, but they'll be OK. That leaves his team down a couple of members - prayers appreciated for the injured GIs and for the remainder of the team.
    Scott

Glad to hear that Chris is fine! Will be keeping his injured unit members in my thoughts.

I am humbled and awed at the bravery of the men and women in the services. I pray for their success and safe return.

                Ditto for me Scott.

Every time I watch the news in the morning and hear that someone was injured from the Stryker's or a soldier from Ft. Lewis was hurt I always think of Chris and send up prayers for his unit and everyone over there.

                  Afternnon Scott...

Trust in God.. your son and his comrades and remember that odds of not being injured are on his side also. Those combine to be some pretty strong medicine.

                  Highest regards for your son...

                      Prayers on the way.

My son leaves tomorrow for Iraq. He's in the same Stryker brigade but won't know his unit for a couple of weeks or so.

Not knowing the enemy until they start to fire makes doing the job that much harder. Tell Chris (and your son, Gary) to put their faith in God, rely on their training, and trust their instincts.

I pray all our boys and girls make it out of harm's way soon.

I pray for the boys safety every night, I'll say a special one tonight. Please thank him and his buds for their service for me.

That goes for anyone who is, or has relatives, in the service! Thanks.
