Yeah, you got that right. The things I've seen on TV don't look good. Hopefully, none of our members have been too badly affected.

You Texas guys can have your drought (what we have been in, crops are down to 1/2 normal yield and dropping), I'll take the rain. At least the ground around here knows what to do with rain.

Actually hasn't been too bad here. Mostly enough scattered showers and storms to keep everything green and hold the heat down. MilDoc llives in Copperas Cove and they got hammered pretty hard last week.

Looks like you are getting some right at this minute And it looks to be moving my way. I have been working in south Austin this week and have been rained on a few times. TV says Marble Falls got 20" in 24 hrs

Seems like we had torrential rainstorms every day for about a week.

I'm supposed to be in Dallas right now. But it's not the weather that's keeping us away, it's "mechanical difficulties" that delayed our 9:05AM flight to 3PM, and now 7:30 PM. (Colleague and I have driven to the airport twice today, so far, and will try again in a couple hours.)

I hear Dallas has some flooding (Trinity River?), but hopefully the weather won't be too bad.

              Regards,
              Tom

Lots of flooding in lots of Texas cities. We had another 3 1/2" of rain here today with more expectedtonight and tomorrow, on top of 2" yesterday. After 3 years of drought we need it. Just wish it would only rain Monday - Thursday!
