Guess The Item Of This Collection - Clues

Of my many different types of "collections", nobody has guessed what it was even with clues. I have several clues. I'll start with this one, and I'm sure with the massive brainpower here it will be guessed pretty quick. I want to add this is straightforward, no tricks, no catches.

CLUE # 1: In the collection, the variety of materials of the items are: wood, plastic, paper, glass, vinyl, leather, metals of different types, cloth (some 100% cotton, some synthetic fiber), rubber, porcelain and ceramic.

CLUE # 2: I haven't done any collecting in a few years, but the most recent one I've had about 5 years, and the first ones collected were about 40 years ago. I have no idea how old any of them were at the time I got them. Their age was not really the issue, but really old ones fascinated me.

CLUE # 4: The lightest weight is definitely under one ounce. The heaviest one maybe five pounds.
