Not sure if you can delete it now, but you could go in and edit it to make it something completely different.

Knowing that undo comments toward my daughter's project were only a small part of what happened, I would still like to thank those who stood in her defense. I felt that If were to involve myself in the discussion, I would put myself in a position that would jepordize my membership here. Thanks to the cooler heads that prevailed.

No apologies needed. You did what a moderator is supposed to do.

I just wanted to add to the chorus. I've only been here a few months but have found this to be one of the best, most polite communities on the web. I appreciate the cleansing.

I've been gone for a couple days, so I didn't see the problem member's posts. But I'm very sure you did the right thing. Thankfully, we don't have much of that going on here. We don't need it. Thank you for taking care of things.

Apologizing for trying to keep a troll from ruining this board is like apologizing for breathing. It's something that has to be done.

Being a mod is not easy it seems like no mater what you do / don't do it's wrong.

I think the mods here do a great job!! Hopefully there is very little that they need to do. On a great boards like this one, it takes care of itself!!

                  Thanks Lee!!!

I should be the one apologizing, I had to go out of town for the day after I stirred the hornet's nest.

You done good, it's just a shame it came to the point that it has.
If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!!!... but you can always 'hop it up'

I ditto the thanks, and the fact that an apology is unecessary. One of the first things I noticed upon joining this forum is the fact that as a newbie nobody EVER posted a negative comment regardless of the question. ... no such thing as a stupid question... Mods you're doing a Great JOB! hanks for this forum, it's given me the nudge to enter this wonderful hobby.

I've been busy since Friday and obviously missed any hoopla. Glad I did. This is the only internet community I've ever belonged to and didn't realize how special it is.

Many thanks to the kindness of the members here. I have asked a lot of newbie questions here and plan to post a few beginning projects soon. Good to know that the "old dogs" don't bite.

Well a good "A$$ kicking" would have done him more good but kinda hard to administer over a computer. I've found this to be the best forum of any kind I've visited on the web, I'm glad it won't get ruined but one sick individual.

I think you did the right thing,

Computer-based A$$ kickings can be administered, but they tend towards destroying someone's system or getting someone investigated by the FBI for crimes the person may or may not have committed. To me, it doesn't seem like they would yield the same satisfaction as a physical one, though.

Lee, I agree with everyone else. You did what needed to be done. No apologies necessary.
