    A NON-Bargain Alert

Imagine buying this and then getting an HF flyer in the mail. Gotta be careful with those CraigsList items. Chicago Electric 12" SCMS for $350. WOW, talk about optimism!

The reason it is so high priced is that it is a ten foot saw! Well worth it for just a 10 ft blade alone!

Wonder if I should flag it or email and tell him his price is a little high?

He's either clueless or looking for someone who's clueless.

Probably in either case you should leave him alone.

I agree, if anyone is so clueless that they would pay that much for that saw then they deserve what they got. Heck, it's a free economy and if one doesn't have the moxy to check out what something is really worth, then "buyer beware". A round of golf at Pebble Beach is north of $400. Makes the saw look like a good deal. It's all relative to what its worth to the buyer, not the seller.

The Duluth CL currently has a listing for a Montgomery Wards RAS for $350. That's got to be what, 30 years old?

You're right Loring. Or I could put up my own ad that lists the same saw for 50 bucks.
