    Bluebell Time Again

As you'll see from the picture below, the bluebells in my part of the world are really spectacular this year.

The picture reminds me of a horror film I once saw that had a deadly foam that crept over the planet and took over.

Actually, it's very beautiful. Is it a seasonal growth, starting and stopping at certain times of the year?

Yes, it's seasonal, lasting for about one week, then that's it until this time next year.

        Ray,

I left England [Southgate] when I was seven. But, I remember the Bluebells and Buttercups. We used to picnic in a place called South Mimms. You wouldn't get very far picnicking on private land here in the US. No styles on fences here.

Wow! Only one week - what a pity.

Thanks for the photo, Ray. I love to store up memories of what I see in the great outdoors. I was sharing some with my massage therapist who said to keep talking because it was relaxing my muscle faster than usual.
            Again, thanks,

Beautiful and amazing. Blue flowers are my favorites and there aren't many true blue perennials around here.
                  Thanks for the photo Ray.

Beautiful picture, Ray. With the rains we have had the wildflowers, especially the Bluebonnets, are in bloom. Makes the drive to work more pleasant.

Those are beautiful Ray, but I was thinking of the ice cream when I clicked the thread. Bill

It's a picture of the nearby Eridge Wood that belongs to the Marquis of Abergavenny. In spite of the pompous-sounding title, he's a really friendly guy (I met him when I was a Detective) and we can walk on his land whenever we like.
